Radio Bloomsday 2011

This years Radio Bloomsday will be broadcast live from 7pm to 2am on Sunday, June 16, 2011 on the Pacifica Radio Network, wbai 99.5FM in New York City, KPFK 90.7 in Los Angeles and online at www.wbai.org anywhere in the world. Artists interpret James Joyce's Ulysses.

This years broadcast includes artist from New York, Los Angeles, Dublin and London. Performers for this year's Radio Bloomsday include Alec Baldwin, Aaron Beall, Marie-Louise Bowe, Justin Vivian Bond, Charles Busch, Janet Coleman, Frank Delaney, Paul Dooley, Roma Downey, David Dozer, Anne Enright, Jim Fletcher, Garrison Keillor, Michael Laurence, John Lithgow, Marc Maron, Nick McDonell, Paul Muldoon, Caraid O’Brien, John O’Callaghan, Bob Odenkirk, Wallace Shawn, Marc Singer, T. Ryder Smith, Jerry Stiller, Tarab,Bernadette Quigley, Kate Valk, Fiona Walsh and Zeroboy!

And of course are amazing production staff and engineers including Nellie Gilles, Robert Auld, Mark Torres, Jon Almehleh, Reggie Johnson, Max Shawn Rhodes, Max Schmid and Daniel DunneRadio Bloomsday is written and directed by Caraid O'Brien, who also performs the complete Molly Bloom monologue. The Artistic Director is Janet Coleman. Larry Josephson and The Radio Foundation is the producer. Mark Torres of The Pacifica Archives recorded actors in Los Angeles for this broadcast.
